FSU Health
FSU Health is a bold initiative of Florida State University that brings together researchers, educators, and clinical partners under one umbrella to transform health and health care in Florida. FSU is partnering with institutions across the state to grow its biomedical research portfolio and attract some of the top medical and research talent from around the country. These efforts will result in a more robust health care system for Floridians.
UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI)
The UF CTSI accelerates the translation of scientific discoveries into practices for the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and cure of human disease.
Health Data Repository
OneFlorida Data Trust
The OneFlorida Data Trust is a robust and secure repository of healthcare data, supporting clinical and translational research across Florida and beyond. Managed by the OneFlorida Clinical Research Consortium, the Data Trust serves as a vital resource for researchers within the FSU CTSA BIRD program and affiliated institutions.
The FSU CTSA BIRD team actively collaborates with OneFlorida researchers and other stakeholders to leverage this extensive dataset for impactful research. Through this partnership, we aim to enhance healthcare quality, promote health equity, and contribute to groundbreaking discoveries.
For more information about accessing the OneFlorida data for your research, please submit a ticket to CTSA Consulting Suite.
NIH All of Us Researcher Workbench
The NIH All of Us Research Program is collecting health data from a million people across the US in an effort to build one of the most diverse health databases in history. Researchers can use the data to learn how biology, lifestyle, and environment affect health, which can inform new treatments and ways to prevent a variety of diseases. Current data include EHR (224,000 and counting), participant surveys (188,000 and counting), and physical measurements (127,000 and counting), and future data will include biosamples and information from mobile and wearable technologies. For more information about the NIH All of Us Research Program, please visit their website, particularly the Opportunities for Researchers page, and / or review the American Medical Informatics Association 2020 presentation of the Research Workbench.
NIH All of Us Research Program
Because of a new Data Use Agreement between FSU and the NIH All of Us Research Program, all FSU researchers can apply for Researcher Workbench access. Register as a researcher by creating an account. You will receive an email with further instructions once you have completed your researcher profile. In addition to creating a Workbench account, all researchers must have an eRA Commons account before they can access the Workbench.
If you do not have an eRA Commons account, please work with your grants and contracts office to set one up. For more information about eRA Commons, please visit https://era.nih.gov/.

FSU Health Research Connections
In support of the FSU Health Initiative and to facilitate the growing health and clinical research portfolio at FSU, the Division of Research established FSU Health Research Connections (HRC). HRC ensures that FSU researchers can easily access research support services across FSU through a centralized platform and personalized navigation services.
FSU Translational Science Laboratory
The Translational Science Laboratory provides the physical space, applied technologies, and PhD level staff to serve scientists at Florida State University and elsewhere in their scientific pursuits. TSL houses state-of-the-art proteomics, metabolomics, and genomics equipment. In addition, TSL staff provide experimental consultation, sample processing, data analysis, along with grant and manuscript assistance in these technologies.
UF Florida Research Data Center (RDC)
Located on UF's East Campus, the Florida Research Data Center provides a secure research environment where researchers can analyze restricted data collected by the U.S. Census Bureau and other federal statistical agencies.
FSU Center for Translational Behavioral Science
The mission of the Center for Translational Behavioral Science (CTBScience) at Florida State University is to enhance health for all using a sustainable team science approach for the development and widespread implementation of behavioral, biobehavioral, and multi-level interventions across the translational spectrum. CTBScience relies on a continuous cycle of interaction between basic behavioral and biomedical scientists, translational researchers, treatment providers, and communities to develop interventions in local communities and beyond.
FSU Institute on Digital Health and Innovation
The Institute on Digital Health and Innovation (IDHI) in the College of Nursing advances digital health science, technologies, and tools focused on solving real world needs of patients, providers, and populations through research, training, and innovation to maximize health. IDHI offers a range of billable services from research project development, implementation, recruitment, data analysis, and dissemination of findings.
FSU Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Facility
The MRI facility is a research-dedicated space that includes a 3T Siemens Prisma (whole-body) scanner, an MR-compatible Brain Products system for EEG and psycho-physiological measures, eye tracker, mock scanner, and a MagPro X100 equipped with Localite TMS Navigator for brain stimulation. Their goal is to foster research that encompasses and connects neuroscience, psychology, medicine, and engineering.
