About the K2R Scholar Program

Created through the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Florida State University (FSU) and the University of Florida (UF) partnership, the K2R Scholar Program is designed to create a community of early career faculty and mentors who work together to submit high-impact translational science career development and research proposal to set FSU’s investigators on a path to independence.
Within the K2R program, we house the NIH-funded K12 career development program and support early career investigators in developing K career development proposals (e.g., K01, K23, etc.) and R-level (e.g., R01, R21, R34, etc.) research studies.

Every 1st Tuesday in Fall and Spring on Zoom | 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
One of our career development preparatory programs, All About Funding (AAF), is open to K2R Scholar Program (KSP) emerging scholars and new FIRST faculty.
For assistance and to register for AAF, please contact Andrea Johnson, MPH. Attendees who register after the series begins will be waitlisted until the start of the next series.
